3/16"is tight but works, 1/4"is snug tight-clamp suggested, 5/16" needs clamp
Works great to eliminate fuel from sitting in carburetor bowl during storage
It is always suggested to turn off fuel and run carburetor empty before storing gas powered equipment.
Gasoline dries and leaves residue that clogs small jets and passages. Very hard to clean and the main reason gas powered equipment doesn't run after sitting in storage.
